There are over 400,000 women who get breast implants every year. This is an expanding area of health care and plastic surgery. The problem is that there is an increased number of patient who feel that they weren’t informed adequately.

A breast exam done by a medical provider is helpful and extremely important but in some cases it can be done too infrequently. A self breast exam is important and should be considered as such – but it considered optional.
