Breast Cancer Awareness comes every October…but that doesn’t diminish the importance of being aware of breast cancer. The following are important reminders in Women’s Health:
The battle continues on the reccomendations for the guidelines for breast cancer screening. Recently two groups placed importance for the age 40 for breast cancer screenings for those who are high-risk patients. Also recommended are imaging evaluation of mammography, MRI and ultrasound.
Each year for the past 25 years another important event has occured in October. This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month also called NBCAM.
