Should the NFL Consider Echocardiograms for All NFL Players?
Athlete’s deaths over the last several years and especially recently with Gaines Adams’ death last week have triggered talks by the NFL on the evaluation process for its professional football players. The National Football League has created their own Cardiovascular committee and are considering putting into play a heart scan called an echocardiogram.

Nationally, about 7 million students play high school sports. And according to the “National Association of State Boards of Education”. And of those more than 20 high school students per year die from heat, heart conditions and other injuries.
