Childbirth doesn’t have to be looked at as a painful experience. The fact that our bodies were made to give birth, it’s exciting! I had a natural child birth 1 year ago. I don’t regret a thing. She was alert, lifting her neck and looking all around the room moments after she was born. I truly believe the lack of drugs used promoted her awareness of her new environment. It’s a shame to auto-jump to a c-section just because you think it’s an easy way out. I walked to the bathroom 4 hours after giving birth, my poor friend who had no other option then a c-section wasn’t able to walk after 5 entire days… She was not a happy mommy.
