The importance of a Colonoscopy cannot be overstated. This is a procedure that looks for problems in the intestines such as Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Diverticulitis, Cancer, and much more.

This video helps you understand what is happening during this procedure. Often the patient is given medications to help them sleep. It is important to understand that the camera has already been inserted and gone through the entire procedure.

What you are seeing is as the camera moves back out of the colon. This is done slowly to evaluate the entire colon.
