Occurs when certain blood vessels that become inflammed and swollen.

Blood can become difficult to flow in several areas of the body.

Presents with kidney problems and some vessel irritation or inflammation.

Affects lungs, kidneys and other organs as well

Symptoms
• Joint pain
• Fever
• Rash
• Chronic sinus pain
• Skin rash
• Weight loss

Treatment

Acute phase
• Cyclophosphamide 3- 6 months

Once in remission
• Azathioprine
• Methotrexate
• Corticosteroids

For more serious cases the do not resolve with 1st line medication
• Rituximab
• Infliximab
• Etanercept
• And others
